Custom Hand Painted & Hand Lettered Verse - HAVE YOUR FAVORITE POEM, quote, wedding vows, or verse elaborately illuminated in the style of Renaissance manuscript pages. These pieces are completely hand-painted and scribed; they are not prints.

This piece is 11.5” x 13” on heavy Canson pastel art paper. It includes two elaborately decorated capitals, with several hand-scribed verses that are illuminated with colorful and highly detailed scroll-work. Details are highlighted with metallic gold ink. Also featured in the scroll-work are four miniature vignette paintings.

Art Nouveau Desiderata - A CUSTOM DESIDERATA, hand lettered and hand painted, can be commissioned with your personalized images and symbols. For this particular piece the images of roses, lilies, cardinals, and pearls were requested, but I can use any images you choose. Because this is a completely customized piece, I can use any style you want: Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Renaissance Illuminated Manuscript, etc.
